The day

Doors at four. Ceremony on the lawn, cocktail hour on the porch, dinner under the tent, and hanging out anywhere you like until nine.

It is all outdoors, and late September in Philadelphia turns cool once the sun goes down — sunset is just before seven. Bring a layer.

Placeholder — Daniel to confirm the ceremony start time. The landing page says four; the planner's lighting notes assume guests arrive at four and the ceremony begins at 4:30.

Parking

There is parking on site, so drive over and leave the car at the arboretum for the evening.

Flying in

Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is about a forty minute drive away.

Where to stay

There is no hotel block, but two nearby places to start with:

• Chestnut Hill Hotel — the closer of the two, just up the hill in Chestnut Hill.
• Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia City Avenue — a little further out, on City Avenue.
